How to use Neo Hair Lotion with a derma roller
A simple morning and evening routine for Neo Hair Lotion and a derma roller, with cleaning, safety tips and realistic expectations.

Most people who buy Neo Hair Lotion use it with a derma roller, a small handheld roller covered in fine needles. Here is a simple routine, how to keep the roller clean, and the mistakes to avoid. Always follow the label on your pack and the instructions that come with your roller first.
What you need
- Neo Hair Lotion
- A derma roller (included in our combo)
- 70% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the roller
- A clean, dry scalp
Morning routine
- Clean the roller. Spray or dip it in 70% isopropyl alcohol and let it air-dry.
- Roll gently. Part your hair and roll over the area a few times in different directions: up and down, side to side, then diagonally. Use light pressure. It should never be painful.
- Apply the lotion. Apply Neo Hair Lotion to the area as directed on the label, and massage it in with your fingertips.
- Clean up. Clean the roller again, store it in its case, and wash your hands.
Evening routine
Apply the lotion again before bed, or as directed on the pack. You don't need the roller every time. Follow the frequency in your roller's instructions, and give your scalp rest days if it feels sensitive.
On wash days
Wash first, for example with Disaar Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. Then dry your scalp completely before you use the roller or apply the lotion.
Mistakes to avoid
- Pressing hard. Light pressure is enough.
- Rolling over cuts, acne, sunburn or an irritated scalp.
- Sharing your roller with anyone, even family.
- Using a roller with bent or dull needles. Replace it.
- Skipping days and then judging too early.
Realistic expectations
Every scalp is different, and hair care routines take regular use over several weeks. Many customers plan for two to three bottles before judging a change. If your hair loss is sudden or patchy, or comes with itching, pain or redness, see a dermatologist before you start any routine.
